Greetings,

I’m Raafat Hamze. I’m a Transpersonal Practitioner and I help you re-narrate your being in the world.

What is Transpersonal Coaching?

Transpersonal coaching is a practice of personal empowerment that blends the pragmatic, here-and-now orientation of coaching with the thematic richness and spiritual dimension of Transpersonal Psychology. Through lucid self-inquiry, mindfulness techniques and compassionate guidance, I work with you to patiently deconstruct the obstacles to your psycho-spiritual movements and usher new meanings and becomings in your life.  If you’re interested in co-investigating aspects of your lived experience, or in challenging your existing ego narratives, I’d love to hear from you.

Focus Areas

  • There are moments when something is shifting, but not yet clear. A sense that your way of being is changing—along with the direction your life is taking—but without a stable form to hold onto.

This work stays with that phase.

Rather than rushing toward clarity, we attend to what is still unformed: the emerging meanings, tensions, and directions that have not yet settled into identity or narrative. Through a careful, relational process, these begin to articulate, take shape, and open into trajectories that can be lived and built upon.

  • Creative work often begins in the liminal, the virtual. Its trigger, or spark, is typically a concern, an intuition, a tension that resists immediate expression.

This work with artists and creators engages directly with that process.

Rather than focusing only on output, we stay close to what is driving the work from within it: the underlying questions, affects, and directions that give it force. As these are allowed to deepen and differentiate, they begin to organize themselves into more complex, original, and resonant forms of expression.

This work offers companionship to that process.

  • Burnout is often approached as exhaustion to be managed or resolved. But at a certain intensity, it can no longer be reduced to fatigue alone. It involves a breakdown in how experience holds together: what once felt meaningful becomes flat, overwhelming, or unreachable.

This work approaches burnout not only as a condition to recover from, but as a crisis that asks something deeper.

Drawing from lived experience as well as practice, I work with you to stay in contact with what feels depleted, fragmented, or overextended—without forcing premature recovery. Rather than restoring previous functioning at all costs, we attend to what may be shifting beneath the surface: what no longer holds, what has been exhausted, and what may be trying to reconfigure.

In this sense, burnout can be approached not only as an endpoint, but as a threshold—one that, when carefully engaged, can open into a different relation to work, meaning, and life.

  • Individuation, the psyche’s call for wholeness that we experience starting our mid-thirties, is one of the most exceptional and enriching stages-processes in our adult lives. For most of us, it goes completely unnoticed– we mistake it for malaise, for existential dread and ennui, and for what the indigenous Amazonians call ‘loss of soul’. In reality, it is a dynamic expression of our psyche's innate creativity, urging us to explore and integrate diverse aspects of ourselves. Together, we can navigate the complexities of individuation by deciphering the symbolism and imagery present in your dreams and waking experiences, uncovering hidden truths and embracing newfound growth opportunities.

  • From the several professionals of this vein I've seen, you've veered the closest to moving me. That is no minor feat.

  • Raafat worked compassionately and intuitively with me to transport me beyond the boundaries of my ordinary experience, deep into transpersonal realms, to help me explore areas of my life in which I felt very stuck.

  • I have found coaching with Raafat joyful and very uplifting. It gave me the security and power to accept whatever I face, go through it and come out on the bright side.

  • You asked excellent questions that made me stop and think about where I was going with my thought process. Your guided meditation was intuitive and quite open.
